Pep Guardiola was not at all happy in his last Champions League group stage game. And not only the defeat, which came in a meaningless game, but especially because of Kyle Walker's red card.
The Man City full-back saw a red card and, therefore, will miss the first leg of the last 16 clash. That is a very big blow for the Mancunian outfit.
"Kyle Walker is an important player for us, and you don't need to lose him like that. I hope he learns from this," Guardiola explained in a press conference.
The manager from Barcelona confessed that Walker's red card "hurts, especially in a last 16 clash." "It's a red card, I'm not going to come here to say what happened in the dressing room," he concluded.
In this way, Pep Guardiola will have to vary his squad in the first game of the knockout stages. The last 16 draw will be held on Monday.
