According to 'The Sun', Manchester City are aware that Pep Guardiola's future at the club could be in peril after a possible sanction. The manager already said what he thinks about the subject when the TAS spoke about the sanction.

There has been a scandal in the Premier League. The league published a statement accusing Manchester City of breaking the 'Financial Fair Play' rules, something which the English side themselves denied.

However, according to several British media soutces, the Citizens could face being kicked out the league if worst comes to worst. It is something which would cause total chaos for one of the English league's biggest clubs.

But it could go even further. According to 'The Times', manager Pep Guardiola could leave the club if they are hit with a sanction and the team would then also see themselves affected in footballing terms.

The Catalan already appeared very opposed to this type of action when the Manchester side were threatened with a possible TAS sanction for European competitions. These were his words back then: "I said it to our people: 'Tell me everything about the suspicions they have. I looked at them and I believed them 100% since the first day, so I ended up defending them". "I said to them: 'If you're lying to me, I won't be here the next day. I'll be out and you won't be my friends anymore".
