Luis Diaz has returned to running after suffering a knee injury in October which forced him to undergo surgery. The Colombian footballer has been able to return to the pitch, as Klopp explained at a press conference.

Liverpool striker Luis Diaz has returned to running after a knee injury he sustained in October. Moreover, the footballer relapsed from the injury in December and had to undergo surgery again.

Diaz was one of Liverpool's best players last season but has been out of action for three months. He is not expected to return until March although Klopp gave good news about his situation on Friday at a press conference.

"Bobby is getting closer obviously, very good. Luis is running now, it will take a few weeks still but he is now out on the pitch as well running, which is really good," the manager said.

The striker played 12 competitive matches for Liverpool this season before the injury, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
