Gabriel Jesus put Man City ahead once again at the Etihad Stadium. The Brazilian got away from Alexander-Arnold to beat Alisson with a shot which went in off the crossbar.
The match between Man City and Liverpool did not disappoint. The Sky Blues took the lead through De Bruyne, but Diego Jota then levelled.
Just before the interval, Gabriel Jesus scored for Man City to make it 2-1. The Brazilian striker got away from the defence, from Alexander-Arnold, to be precise. There were four players who were offside, but Gabriel Jesus was going into the area.
Cancelo, from the left, put in a pinpoint pass for the City attacker, who did not even have to control the ball. He just touched the ball before Alisson could get there.
The Liverpool goalkeeper tried to make himself big, but despite getting a touch to it, the ball went in off the crossbar.
