From tears of despair to tears of joy
Back in 2014, Antoine Griezmann was reduced to tears as France crashed out of the World Cup. Four years later, the tears returned, but for a very different reason.
In Brazil, the Atletico Madrid forward was powerless to help as 'Les Bleus' crashed out at the quarter-final stage to eventual winners Germany. The defeat proved too much for Griezmann, who was reduced to tears at the full-time whistle as Mats Hummels' early header sent the French packing.
Griezmann couldn't his his delight with the win, clenching his fists and letting his eotions lead the way as he made up for that disappointment four years previous.
