Ramos and Reguilón were not at their best in Switzerland's goal against Spain to make it 1-0. Freuler took advantage of poor defending to hit a lovely shot into the goal. The Spanish defence could have done a lot better.
Switzerland took the lead in the 26th minute against Spain. Luis Enrique's men started the game well, but the home side drew first blood.
It all started from the Swiss area. The ball went to Emilson Fernandes on the right whose pass punished Reguilon and Ramos' poor positioning.
Neither the Spurs full back or the Real Madrid central defender were able to prevent Embolo getting into the penalty box down the flank. He then sent the ball across to the middle.
Freuler was waiting there all on his own to shoot, His shot could not have been any better. It went high and into Unai Simon's top corner. The keeper had no chance and it was 1-0 to the Swiss.
