Madness reigned as Man City and Tottenham traded blows in the opening minutes of the second leg of their Champions League semi-final. Sterling put city ahead, but his joy was short-lived as Son levelled for the visitors.

The goals did not take long to arrive in the all-English Champions League matchup. It took City just four minutes to open the scoring.

Sterling did so with a stunning right footed effort which Lloris had no chance of stopping.

However, in the seventh minute Son levelled the scoring, taking advantage of a botched clearance from Laporte and firing past Ederson, who will be disappointed he didn't do better.

Just three minutes after his first goal, Son added his second after another Laporte error, curling the ball past Ederson after being fed by Christian Eriksen.

City were undeterred, however, and Bernardo Silva finished an Agüero cutback to complete a remarkable opening to an incredible game of football.
