'Foden is the best young player in Europe'

Foden is much-talked about at City, being born locally and progressing through the academy to the verge of the first team. This season, he has already scored his first goal in the League Cup against Oxford. 

The Stockport-born midfielder is now set to start again on Thursday, against Fulham in the next round of the cup. 

"I think he is the most talented young player in Europe right now. For him it is so important to stay humble, work hard every day. He's growing up," Zinchenko said. 

"Of course it's going to be a tough game because Fulham play well. They are defensively organised very well, and always against them it is not so easy.

"We are Man City, for us every competition is so important."
