With a goal after 28 seconds and another just before the final whistle, Augsburg spoiled the Gnabry show. The Bayern winger once again showed he was in good form assisting Lewandowski before putting Bayern 1-2 up with a brilliant slalom. Augsburg had the last laugh though.

The early leveller made it look like Bayern would go on to win. It could have been confirmed shortly before half-time, but Gnabry was denied by a post. Four minutes after the interval, he was not to be denied.
He drove, he dummied, looked for a gap on the edge of the area and smacked home a lovely left footed shot into the far corner.
However, Finnbogason, just after Muller had let Augsburg off the hook, the Icelandic player broke Bayern's hearts.
