Fernando Simón criticises Cristiano: 'Now he's a PCR expert?!'
Fernando Simón, Director of the Health Alert and Emergency Coordination Centre, criticised Cristiano Ronaldo for his comments on recent PCR testing.
Football can't get away from COVID-19 this season. It lives alongside the possibility of a positive test for any payer at any time. Not even Cristiano Ronaldo could escape the COVID carousel.
The Portuguese missed the Champions League clash with Barcelona and, shortly afterwards, had his say on social media: "The PCR testing is bullsh*t".
These comments didn't please Fernando Simón, Director of the Health Alert and Emergency Coordination Centre. In an interview, Simón criticised the Portuguese.
"Now he thinks that he is an expert on PCR testing. He has a lot of resources that he can tap into and learn from if he wants", said Simón in an interview.
