'La Gazzetta dello Sport' pointed out that during the encounter between Roma and Bologna, a fan, who was in the press area of the stadium, was ejected from the stadium for racist chanting against Musa Barrow. Roma have already taken action against the individual.

The match between Roma and Bologna was decided by Bologna's Musa Barrow. However, there was unsavoury incident when a supporter was thrown out of the stadium for racist chanting against the footballer.

'La Gazzetta dello Sport' reports that a Roma fan was in the press area of the stadium. The individual made xenophobic comments towards the player before being ejected by the club's security.

It was not a journalist, but a normal fan who had been given accreditation by a friend of his to watch the match from a better position. As a result of this, Roma have decided to act and they have now handed out sanctions.

The club has been given the supporter a three year ban from the Stadio Olimpico while the journalist has been banned for a year.
