Everton's loan move for Mangala 'agreed in principle'
According to 'Sky Sports', Everton have agreed a loan move in principle with Manchester City for defender Eliaquim Mangala.
The Merseyside club only initiated interest in the 26-year-old on Tuesday evening, but the Everton board are working round-the-clock to push the loan deal through before Wednesday's deadline.
Pep Guardiola is reportedly willing to let Mangala leave the Etihad after the signing of Aymeric Laporte has made the Frenchman surplus to requirements.
At the present moment, 'Sky Sports' have claimed that a deal has been agreed in principle and should be announced in a matter of hours.
The only sticking point is that Everton play Leicester City in the Premier League on Wednesday night so it will be difficult to finalise the move with a game going on at the same time.
