Their original target was to raise £7,500 but, the supporters managed to surpass this amount and have raised a whopping £9,221.
Everton's club chairman, Nick Mernock is very proud of the grand total raised and he told the club's official website, "Carlisle United are a beacon of their community, like Everton, so we are proud to have played a part in helping them continue their fantastic charity work." Everton is also known as 'The People's Club', this definitely seems to be the case. Good work Everton fans!
