Everton have completed the signing of Theo Walcott from Arsenal in a deal worth more than £20m on a three-and-a-half year contract.

After arriving for a medical examination at Everton's training complex Finch Farm on Tuesday, The Toffees have completed the signing of Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, who becomes Sam Allardyce's second signing of the January transfer window following the £27m paid for striker Cenk Tosun from Besiktas.

After 12 years at Arsenal, in which he scored 108 goals in 397 appearances, Walcott has decided to quit the Gunners, with Everton's £20million offer fending off rival suitors, including former club Southampton.

Walcott is enticed by the prospect of Sam Allardyce helping to reignite his career, having not featured for England since the friendly against Spain in November 2016. He is set to take the No 11 shirt vacated by Kevin Mirallas at Goodison Park.

Arsenal plan to reinvest the funds they get for the 28-year-old, with concrete interest in Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Bordeaux forward Malcom.
