Espanyol have eyes on Joel Robles
Betis goalkeeper Joel Robles is on Espanyol's refer to bolster the Catalans' goal next season. Betis were offered a swap deal involving them getting Alvaro Vadillo, but it was rejected.
Espanyol are reportedly interested in getting hold of current Real Betis keeper Joel Robles. Betis were offered a swap deal involving Robles going to Espanyol and the Catalans giving them Alvaro Vadillo. However, 'Coliseo Verdiblanco' says it has been rejected.
If they had accepted the offer, the Betis keeper would have gone to Vicente Moreno's side in order to get game time. Since Claudio Bravo's arrival, the Spaniard has lost the number one spot.
However, Betis are looking to sell goalkeepers after signing Rui Silva from Granada. Dani Martin and Robles are the other two goalies in Betis' squad.
Everything seems to indicate that both will leave the club. Espanyol want another keeper to play in goal sometimes instead of Diego Lopez due to the former Real Madrid keeper's age (39).
