Rafinha and Denis Suárez have both suffered injury-ravaged seasons at Barcelona that could put their futures at the club in doubt, with a move to the Bundesliga being a possibility.
And it seems that Barcelona won't be able to count on either player going forward. Rafinha started off the season featuring regularly under Ernesto Valverde, who also sent Denis Suárez on loan to Arsenal after he struggled to get any minutes at Barça.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Eintracht Frankfurt showed interest in Denis when they were in talks with Barcelona over a move for Luka Jovic, who ended up signing for rivals Real Madrid.
Now, they have turned their interest to Rafinha, who missed much of last season with a serious injury. His brother Thiago is already playing in the Bundesliga, and is a key part of a dominant Bayern Munich team.
After the departure of the Serbian forward, Eintracht are now looking to reinforce their squad in the summer market, whilst also trying to avoid losing other key figures such as Ante Rebic and Sebastien Haller.
Denis Suárez, meanwhile, will return to Catalonia after half a year at Arsenal in which he hardly featured.
