Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was injured against Liverpool and could miss the next three to four weeks through injury, meaning he could miss the Sky Blues' game against Arsenal at the end of the month.

Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson was injured in his side's last Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium against Liverpool which ended in a draw.

Stefan Ortega had to come on in place of the Brazilian goalkeeper for the remainder of the game and looks set to take over in goal for the Sky Blues until Ederson recovers.

According to 'Daily Mail' reporter Jack Gaughan, the 30-year-old goalkeeper is expected to be sidelined for three to four weeks with a thigh injury.

The injury is a setback for Guardiola's side, who have every confidence in their goalkeeper and will miss this weekend's FA Cup quarter-final against Newcastle United, will miss Brazil's games against England and Spain and may not make the Premier League clashes against Arsenal and Aston Villa.
