Draxler on Real's radar
Real Madrid have already begun the hunt for attacking reinforcements for next season, and according to the 'Daily Express', Julian Draxler is on their list of targets.
When it comes to Real Madrid interest in Paris Saint-Germain players, all the talk has centered around the Spanish giants planning an audacious move for world-record transfer Neymar. There has even been rumour that 'Los Blancos' could be using Neymar as a smokescreen for the second most expensive player ever, Kylian Mbappe.
However, another possibility, and maybe a more realistic possibility, is that Real Madrid may move for German winger Julian Draxler in summer, as they look to gain a cutting edge up front next season, as reported by the 'Daily Express'.
While Mbappe and Neymar are key members of PSG's first team, and are thus unlikely to be let go without a struggle, Draxler is not. The ex-Wolfsburg man has been in the shadow of Mbappe and Neymar this season, and while PSG will still not be itching to let him go, it would be easier to prise the German away than it would the other two.
Draxler has struggled to establish himself at the Parc des Princes since hs arrival in January 2017, and if reports are to be believed, Real will attempt to take advantage of this in summer.
Madrid are not the only team after the 24-year-old, however. Links with Liverpool have resurfaced, and Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Inter Milan were also said to be keen on bringing the German in during the January window.
