Angel Di Maria has admitted that it is possible that he will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, as the French side make cutbacks to meet financial fair play regulations.

It was recently announced that PSG would be parting ways with Unai Emery at the end of the season, meaning that a new boss will be taking over in Paris for next season. With a new manager come new players, as the club look to kick on to European glory.

As Di Maria understands well, players coming in means players going out, especially given the big spending PSG undertook last summer on Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Speaking with 'France Football', the Argentine forward says he is aware of the possibility that he will have to make way at the French club.

"Football is a strange game," he said in an interview with the French outlet. "I am happy here, but the club needs to sign new players and to do this, others must be sold."

However, the decision is out of his hands, and he isn't worrying about it. "It is not my decision," he continued. "It is also the club's. For the moment, I am calm."

"We must simply continue to work hard; the club and the supporters need to stay patient."

"The most important thing is to continue to sign great players who want to win things or have already won things and are experienced. The rest will come on its own."
