Comments made by Angel Di Maria's wife about Unai Emery's decision to bench the Argentine for Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League clash with Real Madrid have not sat well with the French club, according to 'RMC Sport'. Both Di Maria and Thiago Silva's wives posted angry messages on their Instagrams after their husbands were not given the nod by Emery.
Di Maria's wife posted an image featuring text that showed her dissatisfaction with the fact that her husband didn't get to play a single minute at the Bernabeu. Her criticisms of Unai Emery have not sat well with the Paris club.
Thiago Silva's wife was also active on the social network, posting her own message of incredulousness after the surprise inclusion of Presnel Kimpembe in the starting XI ahead of veteran Silva.
'RMC Sport' has stated that these criticisms have not been well received by PSG, where it has been seen as a lack of respect towards the manager. It would not come as a surprise if at least one of the players was punished for their wives' actions.
