Ousmane Dembele is one of PSG's main targets in this summer's transfer window. 'Mundo Deportivo' has reported that his arrival in Paris is not dependent on Kylian Mbappe's departure, but rather Di Maria's.
PSG want to put an offer on the table for Dembele. In recent weeks, the player has been back in contention under Xavi Hernandez, but this is not going to prevent his departure from the Camp Nou come the end of the season. Paris could be his next destination.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', PSG are aiming to tempt Dembele to the club with a serious contract. The French club will not have any issues in affording this should Mbappe decide to stay at the Parc des Princes either.
The understanding is that Dembele's signing does not depend directly on Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid. In fact, it is considered that there is room for both players in Pochettino's squad.
Nevertheless, if PSG were to consider a departure to make room for Dembele, this would be Angel Di Maria. Reportedly, the player would be happy to end his long spell at the club this summer.
The board believe that at 34 years of age, he has already given everything he could to the team. Because of this, they are happy to let him leave for free once his contract expires on 30th June.
At 24 years old, Dembele would be Di Maria's generational replacement at PSG. The French club await him with open arms, but a few months still remain before the window, and everything could change in this period.
