These are dark and difficult times for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese is currently three games without scoring, and has now become the brunt of criticisms from a lot of the Italian media for his performances.

Juve's number 7 hasn't reached his expected level this season, something which has affected the club who find themselves fighting for Champions League qualification in their last five matches of this campaign.

But that's not all. Upstairs in the 'Vecchia Signora' they are suffering economically, which has put in doubt the continuity of Ronaldo for next season. Even so, the Portuguese is clear that he wants to leave.

However, the star is experiencing difficulties in choosing his next destination. 'Marca' reports that Cristiano hasn't found a club after Madrid pulled out of the race for signing him, in a move that was rumoured months ago.

In his last appearance on 'El Chiringuito', RM's club president Florentino Perez stated that he saw it more than impossible that Ronaldo could return, practically closing the door on that transfer. Likewise, the aforementioned source highlights that PSG are more interested in bringing Messi in, while United know the transfer would be very difficult.

Ronaldo has five matchdays left to finish the season and we will have to wait and see what he decides to do. At the moment, he remains Serie A's top scorer with 25 goals, a title which he will aim to defend at all costs.
