Fiorentina's goalkeeper David De Gea criticizes Luis Enrique's decision to part ways with Gianluigi Donnarumma, calling it 'senseless' after PSG's Champions League win.

Gianluigi Donnarumma's departure from PSG, immediately after winning the Champions League, was one of the most discussed topics of the summer.

The Fiorentina goalkeeper, David De Gea, criticized Luis Enrique's decision in an interview with 'So Foo't: "It makes no sense... If Paris won the Champions League, it's largely thanks to him... Sometimes we forget that the goalkeeper must first and foremost save shots."

De Gea added that a similar situation had happened to him with Spain, when Luis Enrique was in charge: "He arrived and looked for another type of goalkeeper, period."

Today, with Fiorentina, the Spanish shot-stopper has returned to being a key player for his team.
