Guardiola is set to be reunited with right-back Dani Alves, as the former Barca man has reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City.
The move is expected to be confirmed within the following hours, as Alves met with Juventus directives on Monday afternoon to establish an exit plan.
With City willing to pay a relatively low price for the Juve defender (around 5 million pounds), Alves may rescind his contract with the Italian champions to join on a free transfer.
Once his contract situation at Juventus is ironed out, Dani Alves will join Manchester City, with whom he is understood to have already reached a verbal agreement over the terms of a two-year contract.
