Juventus thrashed Novara 5-0 in the first friendly of the 2020-21 season. Cristiano scored the first goal of the Pirlo era. Ramsey, Pjaca and two for Portanova completed the victory.

Andrea Pìrlo's Juve got off to a good start. The 'Bianconeri' scored five against a team that are in Serie C.

But it is always good to start with results like that and for your main man up front to score. That is what Cristiano Ronaldo said, who scored the first goal of the new era.

The '7' made it 1-0 with a right footed shot across the goal which beat the Novara goalkeeper. That goal was the only one scored in the first period.

Pirlo took off his main man at the break as a whole host of changes were made. And in the second period, they put Novara to the sword

Ramsey put Juve 2-0 up after 57 minutes, Pjaca added a third nine minutes later between Portanova got two in the 90th and 92nd minutes to finish things off in style.
