Two months after Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid for Juventus, his transfer is still being talked about. Florentino Perez finally had his say on what led to 'CR7' leaving.

This Sunday will see Real Madrid hold their AGM, in which Florentino Perez will have to face questions about the clubs finances as well as the reasons why Cristiano Ronaldo was allowed to leave the club this summer.

"Cristiano's sale earned us the most of any player this season. When it seemed like it was best for all parties, an agreement had to be reached. Nobody offered Madrid more than Juventus did for Cristiano" the club's president will say according to 'OK Diario'.

"All we can do now is to thank him for what he has done. He's the best we've ever had behind Alfredo Di Stefano" Perez will continue.

"This will always be his home" the president will go on to say, showing that the Portuguese has assured his legacy as one of the most legendary players ever to pull on the famous white shirt.
