Cristiano Ronaldo left Qatar in tears after losing to Morocco, which was the end to his fifth World Cup, and his "dream" of getting a star on his shirt. He was a sub in that game, when there was a whirlwind of controversies surrounding him.
This Wednesday, the Portuguese star got back to training alone to stay in optimum physical state, while he looks for a new club. However, what was surprising was where the ex-United man chose to train.
According to 'Relevo', Cristiano trained at Real Madrid, which was his home a few years ago. This news sparked rumours on social media about a possible return to Real Madrid for Ronaldo.
The same media source reported that there was not a lot of information around his return to the capital, as it is not known if he was able to meet with his old teammates. What is known is that he asked the Madrid side's permission to turn up with his son as well.
What is more, several Real Madrid academy sides were training at the same time as Ronaldo, and the boys wanted to take photos with the Portuguese striker.
Without any shadow of a doubt, this goes to show the fantastic relationship that the Madrid side and Ronaldo still share.
