'Marca' reports that the Spanish FA (RFEF), the CSD and LaLiga reached an unwritten agreement that the Copa del Rey has to be played with fans. There is even the possibility of the match being a week before next year's final.

There could be two Copa del Rey finals in the space of two weeks. It is the last resort LaLiga, the RFEF and the CSD have in mind if the match cannot be played beforehand. That is what 'Marca' are reporting.

The reason for this interesting measure, which is neither official nor agreed in writing, is that everyone wants the game to be played in front of a crowd. A full house is expected.

The Spanish paper says that all parties agreed with the decision and did not put any objection to it.

But why would the Copa del Rey final be have to be suspended for so long? La Liga has preference and if matches have to be played every days then there may not be time before the start of next season to play the cup final between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao.
