Arsenal secured 3-2 victory over Southampton on Sunday, but some late drama between Jack Stephens and Jack Wilshere saw both Stephens and Mohamed Elneny receive red cards.

Arsenal's Premier League clash with Southampton was a fascinating battle, with Arsenal first coming back from a goal down to 2-1, then being pegged back to 2-2, then retaking the lead in the last ten minutes to secure a 3-2 win.

However, while the football itself was highly entertaining, maybe the most eye-catching aspect of the game was the injury time drama that saw both sides go down to ten men.

The drama began when Jack Stephens released the ball to a teammate while breaking for Southampton. Jack Wilshere, who was in pursuit, grabbed onto the Saints player's shirt, failing to let go even when Stephens no longer had the ball, and ended up ripping it.

Understandably, Stephens wasn't best pleased, and he shoved the Arsenal midfielder to the floor in rage. The referee didn't take too well to this, and showed Stephens a straight red card. Wilshere only got a yellow, and Southampton were rightly outraged.

None of it made much sense, but thankfully it didn't impact the outcome of the game, and Arsenal held onto their 3-2 lead.
