In an interview with 'El Pais', Villarreal striker Samuel Chukwueze spoke about his future at the 'Groguet' club. The Nigerian wants to continue at the club, although he did not rule out a possible exit before he is out of contract in 2024.
Villarreal is a mine of talent where great players prove their worth and make the leap to other clubs. One of those who is leaving his mark on the 'Groguet' team is Chukwueze, who gave an interview to 'El Pais'.
The Nigerian left the door open to an exit: "That's just remours. My dream is to play in Europe again with Villarreal. I have a contract until 2024 and I hope I won't be released. The Roig family have been very good to me. They are like my family. The right thing is for me to leave good money at this club".
And he spoke about the increasing number of insults from the stands: "Never. You have to focus on the game. I never look at the stands. I can't even look at the people. Those who cheer you today will be the same people who hate you tomorrow and will say you play sh*t. That's the way it is. If things go well for you, fine, if not, you motivate yourself. If you don't believe in yourself, you can't help your team either".
Finally, Chukwueze gave his favourite winger: "Vinicius is fantastic. He's very fast.
