Chelsea get in way of Matheus Nunes and Liverpool
Liverpool were getting closer to closing a deal with Matheus Nunes. However, Chelsea have entered the fray and could snatch a signing off the Reds.
Anfield are now thinking about next season and Jurgen Klopp has asked for some signings. Jude Bellingham and Matheus Nunes will be Liverpool's main targets for the 2023-24 season. In fact, the Portuguese midfielder is thought to be closer thanks to his price tag.
Chelsea, however, are going to try and gatecrash the mentioned deal. According to 'The Telegraph', the Blues are following the Portugal international very closely.
The same source reported that the London club are also after players such as Benfica's Enzo Fernandez, West Ham's Declan Rice and Brighton's Moises Caicedo.
It is worth remembering that the ex-Sporting Lisbon man cost Wolves €45 million in the summer which means that Nunes would not go to any Premier League rivals on the cheap.
