Che Adams punishes Zinchenko error from 40 metres with GK well off line!
Southampton went ahead against Manchester City. He did so after a terrible error by Zinchenko. He beat Ederson, who was 20 yards out of his goal, from 40 yards.
Southampton took a surprise lead at St Mary's in the first half. Southampton took the lead thanks to a great goal by Che Adams, who punished a Zinchenko mistake.
Zinchenko lost the ball in midfield when he tried to get past Armstrong, but the Southampton man dispossessed him.
The ball went to Che Adams near the semi-circle. He saw Ederson was well off his line and he had a go from distance.
With his right foot, the Southampton footballer hit the ball into Man City's net from 40 yards. Ederson was left for dead.
