Celtic chase City midfielder
Celtic are understood to be considering a move for Manchester City midfielder Olivier Ntcham.
The 21-year-old has spent the last two seasons on loan at Serie A side Genoa.
Reports claim that Celtic boss Rodgers wants the French U21 international to add to his midfield options.
The youngster has predominantly played as a central midfielder during his time in Italy. Though it is understood that Rodgers would be looking to use him as a number 10.
According to 'The Scottish Sun', Genoa had an option to make the loan move permanent this summer and although they opted against inovking their purchase option, there was still interest in the player from fellow serie A sides Lazio and Torino.
However, Celtic are now favourites to seal the signing, with reports suggesting that the fee would be in the region of £4m.
The signing of Ntcham would be another example of Rodgers' desire to pick up talented young players from top sides, with Celtic also heavily linked with a move for Chelsea's Charly Musonda.
