BREAKING: Sane in Manchester discussing a deal with City
Leroy Sane is believed to have flown to Manchester yesterday to discuss a deal with Guardiola's side and is expected to sign for City THIS WEEK.
The German wonderkid is expected to sign for an initial £31.2 million with add-ons that may bring the overall fee to £46.5 million.
Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel confirmed that the 20-year-old requested a transfer away from the Bundesliga club.
"Leroy told me on Wednesday again he has requested to change clubs," he said.
Heidel also implied that Manchester City must finalise a deal this week if they want to sign the winger, as they want the deal to be agreed before their pre-season training camp in Austria on Monday.
"Either we come to terms or we don't. But if Leroy boards the plane to Austria with us he'll stay a player of this club," he said.
