Luis Suarez four weeks on the sidelines
Luis Suarez will spend about a month out of action after the tests he underwent on Thursday morning confirmed the Uruguayan's injury.
Barcelona announced that the striker has 'a distension in the posterior articular capsule in his right knee picked up in the second half of the Clásico on Wednesday in the Santiago Bernabéu'.
Suarez will miss international action for Uruguay, with the national team announcing the news that he would sit out clashes against Argentina and Paraguay even before the Catalan club released the information.
If the forecast is correct, Suarez will miss La Liga fixtures against Betis, Alaves and Espanyol, and maybe also Getafe, the first match after the stop for international duty in September.
Pique has a groin strain in his left leg and his recovery will decide his availability for the game against Betis. For now, his presence is doubtful.
