Bournemouth have decided and want Thierry Henry to be their manager. According to the 'Daily Mail', the Cherries have asked CF Montréal for permission to be able to legally speak with the French manager, who they hope to get in at the start of next week.

Jonathan Woodgate took over as Bournemouth interim boss and the club are working to find their new manager. According to 'Sky Sports' and the 'Daily Mail', the first option is Thierry Henry, with the process already starting.

The aforementioned media outlets explain that the Cherries have now formally contacted CF Montréal, who Henry has managed since 2019, to be able to talk with the manager about arriving as boss.

As long as the club does not give the go-ahead, Bournemouth will not be able to directly discuss with the historic French striker, who if he moves to the club would experience his first spell as a manager in England.

Bournemouth's wish is for the deal to be done at the start of next week. Nevertheless, if something goes pear-shaped, the alternatives are Patrick Vieira and David Wagner.
