Bernardo Silva curled one into the top corner to put City ahead

The game started slow with neither team managing to break into the other's penalty box. 

After some dazzling footwork from Leroy Sane, the German found teammate Bernardo Silva in space on the right. 

Silva took a few touches to shift the ball onto his left before bending a spectacular effort past Cech. Arsenal's man between the sticks had no chance. 

Silva's strike made it 1-0 and would've caused Carabao Cup nightmares to come surging back to the minds of the Arsenal fans.
