Despite Lyon taking a two-goal lead into half-time, Manchester City got themselves back into the game via Bernardo Silva.

Manchester City looked a different team at the start of the second half, bombarding Lyon's area with crosses and shots.

They finally got their breakthrough in the 67th minute, with Leroy Sane picking the ball up wide on the left.

The German began one of his trademark marauding runs into the box, before pulling back for Bernardo Silva.

The Portuguese playmaker had the vision to find the far corner, giving Anthony Lopes no chance of a save.
