Alessandro Bastoni is expected to start for Inter in the Champions League first-leg quarter-final clash against Bayern Munich after partaking in Monday's training session with the team. On the other hand, Federico Dimarco remains doubtful about starting after completing individual training.

Alessandro Bastoni handed Inter fans a scare on Saturday when he was subbed off at half-time against Parma. The reigning Serie A champions threw away a two-goal lead to draw at the Tardini ahead of their Champions League crunch against Bayern Munich.

With just over a day to go until the first leg of the quarter-finals at the Allianz Arena, Bastoni's involvement in the game was put into question. However, having partaken in Monday's training session with the team, the centre-back has now cleared any doubts.

While Bastoni is expected to start on Tuesday night, there are still doubts about Federico Dimarco, who completed individual training. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Italian full-back is set to travel with the 'Nerazzurri' to Munich, but a last-minute call will be made on whether he starts.

Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi will be hoping to have Dimarco at his disposal against the German giants, who have been hit with their own injury crisis, especially after having already lost Denzel Dumfries at right wing-back with injury.
