Marc Bartra's great performances at Real Betis are being noticed outside of Spain as well. The Catalan central defender, a year and a half after arriving in Sevilla, has entered in Roma's plans. The Italians want to sign him this summer.

According to 'AS', the Roma board have put the Betis defender high up on their list of priorities for the summer transfer window and they are preparing a 15 million euro bid for him.

In fact, Roma have apparently already put that amount on the table for Betis to study. However, they will not start negotiating unless Roma offer at least 25 million.

The initial intention of the club is to not release him. Atletico Madrid are also interested in the defender, but Betis are aware that if Roma keep insisting and increase their bid, they could use the money from that to sign a top player.
