Barcelona made plenty of waves with their January business, but the Catalan outfit are already thinking of ways to further strengthen their squad in the summer.

Despite splashing the cash on Philippe Coutinho and Yerry Mina during January, Barca feel that there is no time to waste with regard to forward planning and already have in mind the names of their two top targets for the summer.

First, Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann remains the club's number one attacking target. The Frenchman has been on Barca's radar for some time, but refused to leave Atletico during their transfer ban, such was his commitment to the club.

The class forward's release clause is thought to be set at €100m, with the player's preferred No. 7 shirt having been left vacant after new boy Philippe Coutinho opted for No. 14.

Gremio playmaker Arthur is the other name in the frame for the La Liga pacesetters. Represantatives of the Spanish side held talks with their Brazilian counterparts during January and went as far as testing the water with a couple of bids.

However, Gremio rejected all offers for their star man, with the club keen to keep him at least until the summer.

Whilst transfers will now take a back seat for Barca's fans, Barca's technical staff will continue to work hard behind the scenes to ensure that deals are in place for when the transfer window reopens, with Griezmann and Arthur currently top of their wishlist.
