Bayern Munich have remained very firm so far when it comes to speaking about Robert Lewandowski. Barca have reportedly offered 35 million euros for the Pole, an amount which was rejected outright by the Bavarian outfit. 'Sport' says that the Camp Nou are preparing for one last roll of the dice, although it will not differ greatly from the last one. The Catalans are looking to complete the deal for around 40 million.

At Bayern Munich they have been tried to persuade Lewandowski to renew for some time, but he has already made a decision: he wants to leave this summer. He is desperate to join Barcelona

Polish journalist Tomasz Wlodarczyk, someone close to the player, spoke to 'Sport' recently. He suggested that 50 million could be enough for Bayern to let Lewandowski go.

But Barca have no plans to spend 50 million euros on Lewandowski. According to the Catalan paper, the club's idea is to get the Bavarian club's approval for around 40 million, at the most.

The cited media outlet reports that Barca are prepared to begin their final attempt next week. The club are optimistic over getting the goalscorer.

The La Liga side believes Bayern's asking price of 50 million is excessive given that Lewandowski's contract expires in 2023. They believe that, at some point, the club will give in and lower their price.

Barca know that negotiations with Bayern will be tough as they are a tough nut to crack. But the three are forced to find the best solution. The aim is for the signing to be done before the start of Bayern's pre-season on 12th July as the footballer has already said he has no intention of showing up for pre-season training.
