Barca eye strike partner of Madrid wonderkid Vinicius Jr
Playing in the youth ranks at Flamengo, 16-year-old Lincoln is already one the youth players Barcelona are following closest, according to Spanish publication 'AS'.
The Catalan side were casting their eye over the striker during the U17 South America championships earlier this year. Since then, he has proven himself as a typical Brazilian forward: great technique, speed and always wants the ball at his feet.
Lincoln, who signed his first professional contract last year, could follow in the footsteps of his strike partner Vinicius Jr and make the leap to Spanish football, although he would end up at the Camp Nou instead of the Santiago Bernabeu.
Flamengo are already well accustomed to these types of transfers. Barcelona representatives reportedly contacted the club, who want €30m for the striker is currently U17 top scorer for his country. He already has three goals in as many matches in the U17 World Cup currently taking place in India.
