Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has reportedly been offered to Atletico Madrid by the English club. The 'Colchonero' club are looking for a replacement for Luis Suarez and the Brazilian striker has been left without a place in Pep Guardiola's eleven. However, the Spanish side are unwilling to pay the player's excessive wages.

The market continues to move and one of the most talked about names is that of Gabriel Jesus. The Brazilian striker has been offered to Atletico Madrid, who are looking for Luis Suarez replacement after the departure of the Uruguayan.

Gabriel Jesus' current situation with the Sky Blues has been very difficult. Since the English club signed Erling Haaland, the Brazilian has seen his continuity in the starting eleven in danger and, for this reason, he has ended his time with the English team, according to 'Sky Blue'.

However, there is a problem with City's offer. Atleti have reportedly rejected the proposal because the player's excessive salary is not in line with what the Spaniards are looking for.

At the same time, another reason to take into account is that the striker still has a contract until 2023. Therefore, in addition to paying the fee, the transfer fee would also have to be paid, something that would make the operation even more expensive.
