Aspas tried a Panenka penalty and missed!
Iago Aspas cannot buy a goal. The Celta Vigo striker got a penalty in injury time against Eibar, but the Galician tried to score a Panenka style spot kick and missed.
Iago Aspas is having a difficult season. The Spanish international has yet to score so far this season and we are in matchday seven.
Celta Vigo are suffering as a result. They lost again this Sunday and Eibar were the team which beat them. Celta were toothless going forward and awful in defence.
Aspas had the opportunity to set up a grandstand finish. He himself won the penalty after being pulled back by Sergio Alvarez, but he failed to convert from 12 yards.
The ex-Liverpool man tried to beat Dmitrovic with a Panenka penalty. His spot kick was too slow and down the middle. Even though Dmitrovic had dived to his left, he had time to get up and save it.
