Lately, there has been speculation of Liverpool ending Arthur Melo's loan deal in January. That is very far from the truth. According to Fabrizio Romano, neither the club nor the player are thinking of parting company. This Saturday, Jurgen Klopp sent him to play for the Under 21s. He played the full 90 minutes against Leicester and Liverpool won 0-1.

Since Arthur arrived on loan from Juventus, he has played just 13 minutes for Liverpool. He came on in the 77th minute of the game against Napoli, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for Liverpool. Since then, nothing.

That lack of game time made many think about him leaving in January. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano denies that Liverpool wanted to end his loan spell and send him back to Juventus.

Liverpool have a plan for him to get back his best version. For the time being, Klopp sent him to play with the Under 21s against Leicester at the request of the player himself.

The game between the Foxes and the Reds ended in a 0-1 win for Liverpool. And it is great news for Arthur because he started and played the full 90 minutes. He had not played since 6th May in a Genoa-Juventus.

Arthur does not want to leave Anfield and he promises to work hard to be 100%. The club seem willing to give him that opportunity.
