The Gunners failed to lift the Premier League trophy as they suffered some setbacks in the race against Manchester City for the domestic title. That is why the Emirates Stadium outfit are looking to strengthen their squad so that injuries are not again a major handicap next season, as the Spanish coach explained.
Both West Ham's Declan Rice, who has attracted interest from big clubs, and Chelsea's Kai Havertz are on Arsenal's radar and have been linked with a possible move to Arteta's side.
The Spanish coach was asked about both, to which he responded: "I can't talk about players who are not at the club. I prefer not to say anything. Talent has a price, and, at Arsenal, we are always interested in young players with experience. I repeat, I'm not talking about players from other clubs, but, in Kai's case, he has already shown a lot, including a Champions League. He is a talented, versatile player and only 24 years old.
