Arbeloa wins on coaching debut
Real Madrid's youth team defeated Getafe 5-0 in the first game of Álvaro Arbeloa's management career. Los Blancos dominated from start to finish.
Álvaro Arbeloa's first game in management was a triumph. His Real Madrid youth team destroyed Getafe. He had been due to debut against Atletico Madrid, but that game was called off.
Madrid won with ease behind braces from Yáñez and Paulo Iago, as well as Reyes adding the finishing touches for Real's fifth.
Arbeloa took over after the exit of Juan Carlos Duque. It is the same level at which Xabi Alonso first took charge of a side.
Real are excited to see how the Spaniard performs as a coach. They want him firmly within their system so that they can learn about him and how he implements the club's philosophies before promoting him within their club ladder.
