Ansu Fati now has all clear: he left hospital in wheelchair
Ansu Fati left the hospital four days after his operation on his medial meniscus and he left in a wheelchair. Cameras for 'Movistar+' picked up the moment.
Ansu Fati has now been given the all clear. 'Vamos' cameras spotted the player leaving the hospital. He will be out for around four months which start now. He will first have to rest his knee for a few days before he can start moving it.
You could see the player leaving the hospital in a wheelchair. He was unable to walk or put any weight on the leg which had been operated on. He was taken to a white car and then helped into the vehicle.
Barca had the option of removing the meniscus and then he would have out for just a month, but they decided to put his health first and try and repair it even though he will be out for longer.
It is a major blow for Ansu Fati. This season was the one for him to show he is a big player for the club. He will be back in March if everything goes well.
