According to Spanish outlet 'Sport', Barcelona are considering the possibility of transferring Ansu Fati to Bayer Leverkusen in order to reduce the possible signing of Jeremie Frimpong. The full-back is very much to Hansi Flick's liking.

Jeremie Frimpong has been one of the most recognisable faces in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen. He and Alejandro Grimado have combined remarkably well to provide Xabi Alonso's schemes with depth and versatility down the flanks.

As a result, the former Celtic man scored 14 goals and provided ten assists last season, figures unbefitting of an average right winger.

According to ‘Sport’, the Barcelona board is considering sending Ansu Fati to the German club on loan or as a permanent transfer to reduce a possible transfer fee as they plan to sign him for a maximum of 15 million euros.

However, Ansu Fati has no intention of leaving the squad, at least for the time being. Although he accepted a loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion when he found himself without a good enough chance in the first team, he is now keen to show the new manager what he is capable of.
